Minneapolis

I’m going to sleep after I write this, but I’m worried. As of now I’m seeing that SWAT and the nat’l guard are being sent to minneapolis and are being instructed to use violence if necessary (clearly they believe it will be “necessary”). I’m also seeing reports that certain Nazi groups are headed that way as well, but I’m not sure if that is accurate. I have this awful feeling that things are going to be very different by the time we wake up tomorrow. I’m worried about the protesters’ safety, both now and in the future. We all know that prominent figures from the Ferguson protests have died under mysterious circumstances, and that will happen again if photos and videos of these protesters circulate. Fireworks are going off as the police station burns. Poetic justice. A little friendly arson and rioting is nowhere near as bad as murder. It’s not like nobody tried to be peaceful and polite first.
